Tom, who was educated at Magdalen college started his cricketing journey within the Oxfordshire age group system and after playing through the age groups made his debut for the senior side at the age of 18. Also, during his days with Oxford Tom was somewhat part of Gloucestershire where he trained and joined squads in 2012. Tom officially became part of Gloucestershire when he joined the academy in 2015. Tom went on to be a massive part of Gloucestershire's u17 and u19 side. In 2019 Tom had a brilliant season for the 2nd XI and also made his List a debut for Gloucestershire Australia A. Off the back of this Tom won academy player of the year and earned himself his first contract with the club. Tom also studies at university in Durham and after a hard working winter up north Tom has had a phenomenal summer for his Gloucestershire side. Tom’s superb performances in the first team with both bat and bowl have helped his side finish second in the second division which was a great achievement for the club and also Tom walked away at the end of the year with the young player of the year award.
